Comments: Fragment of a small base or altar of white (‘Pentelic’) marble. Dedication to Zeus Hypsistos by Tryphaina and her brothers on behalf of their parents, for whom apparently they sought healing. This is one of many dedications to Zeus Hypsistos, dating to the imperial period and deriving possibly from the former site of the Athenian Assembly on the Pnyx.
