Fragment of a round statue base of white marble, decorated on top and bottom with cymatia. Traces of statue’s feet on the upper face. The base bears an honourific inscription for Iulia, set up by a cultic association, because of her piety to the god and her benevolence towards the association. Iulia was also characterized as ἀξιολογωτάτη. The person was most probably a member of a prominent local family. |
