Base of blue-gray (‘Hymettian’) marble, preserved on all sides. Dedication of a statue in honour of Claudia Alkia, hearth-initiate, by her father, the prominent Tiberius Claudius Hipparchos. The dedication was made to the goddesses of Eleusis and is dated after the priesthood of Kleo. |
