Base of blue-gray (‘Hymettian’) marble. Dedication of a statue to the hearth-initiate Nikostrate by the Areopagos and the Athenian demos. She was daughter of Menneas of Berenikidai and her guardian, Gaius Cassius Semachides took care of the setting of the statue.
