Plaque of white marble with a moulding representing a pair of human arms below the inscription. Dedication to Zeus Hypsistos by Claudia Prepousa as a thank-offering. This dedication derives from the former site of the Athenian Assembly on the Pnyx. The dedicant must have suffered from a disease or injury affecting the arms. |
