A statue was set up on an exedra in honour of Stateilia Teimosthenis by the city of Epidauros on account of her virtue and benevolence. A statue for her son Lamprias (III) was also erected (IG IV2 1, 671). The woman is attested here without a Roman gentilicium, probably because the family had not acquired Roman citizenship yet. |
