   Comments:

Two fragments of a gray marble block. Dedication of a statue to P. Aeficius Firmus Statianus by members of his family, including his grandmother, [---]nia Gaiene. Based on the diffusion of the first cognomen of the father (Atimetus) among slaves and freedmen, it is probable that the grandfather Aeficius Atimetus was a freedman. ‘The fact that his grandparents shared in the dedication suggests either that Firmus was a young man at the time the inscription was set up, or else that he had died while a young man’ (Kent).
