A pedestal of Parian (?) marble bearing a statue dedicated by the polis of Elis after a decree of the boule honouring Claudia Tyche. She was a citizen of Kleitor and Elis and also priestess of Demeter, lifelong high-priestess of the emperor and the Achaean Koinon and lifelong Hestia of the Arcadian Koinon. Since the ethnika of Claudia Tyche are Κλειτορία καὶ Ἠλεία, and the names of her parents (Claudius Tertyllos and Aemilia Philoxena) are more common in Arcadia, it seems that her origins are from Kleitor. The date of the σμζʹ Ὀλυμπιάδος is normally 209 CE, but considering that the Olympiad was a four-year period, it is preferable to date the inscription in 212/213 CE, when Caracalla was sole emperor (τοῦ κυρίου ἡμῶν αὐτοκράτορος, RP I, EL 119).
