Fragment of a crowning block of blue-gray (‘Hymettian’) marble, preserved on the right and at the top. Dedication of a statue by an unnamed priestess of Demeter and Kore originating from the genos of Philleidai, the Athenian genos from which came the priestess of the goddesses, who initiated the mystae in Eleusis.
