Description - Comments:

Only part of the figure's body is preserved, from the shoulders to the middle of the thighs. The wrists are broken, while the inset head is missing. Smaller breaks and chipping are evident sporadically on the surface of the marble, especially along the ridges of the folds of the garments. The figure wears a chiton and a wide himation tightly wrapped around the body. The right arm is bent diagonally across the chest, while the left is placed at the side downwards. It faithfully reproduces the statuary type of the “Small Herculaneum Woman”.
