   Comments:

Marble plaque commemorating the construction of a πεῖλα (mole?) at the expense of the prominent priest P. Memmius Pratolaos (RP II, LAC 575) and the priestess Volussene Olympicha, a benefaction in homage of the Dioscuri the Saviours. Volussene Olympis (RP II, LAC 725, see the relevant entry) was probably her sister and was married to their cousin P. Memmius Sidektas (II), the brother of P. Memmius Pratolaos (IV). Therefore, Volussene Olympicha shared the priesthood of the Dioscuri with her cousin Pratolaos, who was simultaneously her sister’s brother-in-law. She was also perhaps daughter of Memmia Damokratia (RP II, LAC 538, see the relevant entry).
