Large marble base bearing a private statue dedication by P. Memmius Sidektas (RP II, LAC 579) and his wife Volussene Olympis for the former’s father, P. Memmius Deximachos. She was daughter of Memmia Damokratia (RP II, LAC 538, see the relevant entry) and sister of Volussene Olympicha (RP II, LAC 724, see the relevant entry). Her husband, P. Memmius Sidektas, was boagos, nomophylax, substitute-patronomos and eponymous patronomos when Hadrian visited Sparta. |
